He is extremely knowledgeable and gives great cueing and tips for techniques in person and with remote coaching. I am constantly making progress and improve in both technical skill and strength. Highly recommend being trained by John Strachan (Johnny’s Powerhouse). Whatever your goals are, John will get you to them. He is very passionate about weight lifting and is a great teacher. John is also well-versed in rehab/mobility- so even if you have had a previous injury, he will guide you in the right direction towards painless lifting and increased range of motion. You will learn so much about the world of lifting, as well as yourself. I started training with him in the summer of 2021 and have made incredible progress in building strength. He also introduced me to the sport of Strongman, and I have been competing for over two years now.
